Tuition and Fees
You can view the balance of your tuition and fees in your student account, UR Self-Service. Once you are logged into UR Self-Service you can view your student financial account and make payments. In UR Self-Service, select “Student Services”, then “Student Records”, then “View Account or Make a Payment”. This page then displays the details of the balance owing on the student’s account and provides the opportunity to make a payment towards the student’s account.
You may also pay your student account by mailing in a payment to Financial Services by cheque or money order, in person by debit/cash/credit/cheque, by phone, or by wire transfer. Tuition and fees are expected on the first day of classes, however, there’s a grace period before late charges apply. Check the current Academic Schedule for the ‘end of penalty-free payment period’ date.

Check your time ticket* in UR Self-Service for your exact date! Here’s how to do this:
- Login to UR Self-Service
- Select the Student tab at the top of the screen
- Click on Registration
- Click on Check Your Registration Status
- Select the term you are starting classes and click on submit
- You will now see the date you can register for courses!
*Your time ticket tells you the first day/time you can register for a specific term. Time tickets are found in UR Self-Service before registration opens for a given term. If you log into UR Self-Service and do not see your time-ticket, it is probably too early and it will be posted closer to the registration opening for that term.
Scholarship Coverage
- All international students applying to an undergraduate degree program at the University of Regina will automatically be considered for University of Regina Scholarships.
- Students must have an admission average of at least 85 percent.
- Students will receive their choice of either $3,000 in tuition fee credit or 8 months of campus housing.
- Four awards for international degree-seeking students with the highest admission averages from identified regions around the world will be granted. Students entering the Fall semester will be automatically considered for University of Regina Scholarships.
- $5,000 will be awarded in the first year, renewable each year if academic criteria are satisfactory.
- Students will also receive on-campus housing if they continue to meet the criteria.
