(01) PhD Scholarships

PhD position title: Doctoral student in physical chemistry (MSCA COFUND project PRISMAS)

The Department of Chemistry at Lund University, affiliated with both the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Engineering (LTH), will conduct the research. With teaching in all parts of chemistry and research by globally renowned research groups lasting from basic to applied research, the Department of Chemistry provides a unique strength for Sweden. The PhD student will be part of a network of students and researchers at Lund University’s Division of Physical Chemistry. Associate Prof. Felix Roosen-Runge’s research group will oversee the investigation. The study of protein structure and dynamics, protein diffusion, phase behavior in protein solutions, and scattering-based assembly processes is the primary goal of the research group.

PhD position summary: Doctoral Student in Theoretical Chemistry (MSCA COFUND project PRISMAS)

The Chemistry Department at LU is part of both the Science Faculty and the Engineering Faculty (LTH). With teaching in all parts of chemistry and research by globally renowned research groups lasting from basic to applied research, the Department of Chemistry provides a unique strength for Sweden. The department also has modern molecular research equipment. There are roughly 500 undergraduate students enrolled full-time. We look at statistical physics, suspension dynamics, and quantum chemistry in the Computer Chemistry section. While we are primarily interested in basic research and model building, our methods have been applied to a wide range of systems, including life sciences, clay, mortar, seawater, dental settings, wood fibers, and so on.

Ph.D. position summary: Medical Structural Biology MSCA COFUND project PRISMAS

The PhD student will work in Lund’s Biomedical Building’s Medical Building Biology group. The team’s goal is to determine the structural and functional properties of proteins linked in cancer and diabetes. The team has a long history of structural research that combines X-ray crystallography and single particle freezing with cell biology studies.

(04) Fully Funded PhD Positions:

Ph.D. position summary: Public international law spec into human rights law

Doctoral students must devote their complete attention to their studies if they are nominated. Doctoral students, on the other hand, may focus on teaching, research, and administration to a limited degree. Work of this nature, however, should not exceed 20% of a full-time position before obtaining a degree. When participating in various REF-FIN-related research activities, the PhD student will work closely with the Principal Investigator, other researchers on the project team, and colleagues from the Faculty of International Law and Human Rights. Researchers and lecturers are expected to contribute to a strong research environment, as well as other Faculty activities, and to work mostly in the workplace.
